This is a bit overdue, don't you think? Ok, so it was one day, but guys I have a good excuse! I unfortunately have been experiencing the worst thing a writer can experience. No, not writer's block but the hangover.
If you are not familiar with this term the writing hangover is when you've been on a consistent schedule for some time now and you've just finished writing a really important chapter. You can't wait to write to next part and the writer's block is gone but you just feel drained or feel like taking a break from your story. Unlike the block this decision is yours, not some otherworldly force.
So that's what's been happening with me.
This week the music is just a mix of what I've been listening to to get me pumped to write the next few chapters.
- Bang Bang - Green Day (So. Much. Hype) *Goes to get red necktie
- California Kids - Weezer
- Escape (Pinã Colada) - Rupert Holmes
- This Is What Makes Us Girls - Lana Del Rey
- Dark Paradise - Lana Del Rey
- Queen of Disaster - Lana Del Rey
- F**k You - Lily Allen
- Fields of Gold - The Police/ Sting (Inspiration for a scene in my book)
- Feel- Robbie Williams
- Plant Life - Owl City
- Lovely Lullaby - Owl City (Perfect for sad scenes)
- Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
If you have any suggestions for next week please leave them down below, I'd love to know.
Take care,
